Ok, so I tried a test purchase in debug mode with logging enabled and the first purchase worked, got the customer email with download, and seller email, and the order got added into the database and in the log file, it shows that everything went well.
The second purchase was not so successful, nothing was changed, setting were all the same as the above purchase, made the purchase and got NO emails sent to buyer or the seller, nothing got added to the orders table and nothing showed up about the purchase in the log file.
It seems to me that the order is getting blocked sometimes, but not every time, when coming back from paypal. Nothing even gets logged in the log file showing that the order was even made on the purchases when the emails are not sent. So there is nothing to show you in the log file cause nothing is getting entered or logged about the order.
It does show up on paypals end that the order was made but nothing on the site and no emails sent.
Not sure what would cause the info coming back from paypal to get blocked and only sometimes?
I am stumped at the moment.
Realized the reason that there was no download because I was viewing the PayPal receipt that they send after the purchase. I was not getting the email with the downloads after the purchase however. I would get the PayPal and sometimes the seller email.
After testing today, i was getting the same results. Sometimes it works and I get all the emails and the order gets logged in the log file,and then sometimes I don’t get the email with the download but the seller and PayPal receiot emails and the order doesn’t get logged in the orders section.

We have everything setup (on Paypal and the site) as per instruction and according to what others in the forum have suggested as well as the Docs.
Everything works fine in test-mode and I receive the email with the download links. Sometimes the emails do not come through even in test-mode (90% of the time I receive the email ). Used your email tester plugin and wordpress is sending out the emails according to the email testing plugin and I receive the test emails.
Made 2 live purchases for downloads today, the first was added in the backend to the orders section while the second one was never added to the orders section in the backend.
Got the emails for both orders but they did not have a download link for the downloadable image I purchased.
Not sure what’s going on but nothing I have tried from suggestions in the forum have yet worked.
Would love it if we could get some help as to why this is happening.
