I ended up given up on this and just un-protected my video files. I just hope my course doesn’t get spread all across the Internet.

I just discovered that when switching to the Twenty Eleven theme, the S3 protected shortcode works fine now, so for some reason there is an issue with the plugin and the OptimizePress theme.

The files play fine in HTML5 player for the moment, but still nothing when trying to use the S3 protected player with embedded image.

I will try renaming the files and see if that helps.

I will report back with my findings tomorrow.

Sorry about not providing enough information.

I did have the videos playing fine uwing the HTML5 embedded code with unsecure files, but now today none of them will play. They just sit there loading, even when I try and download it directly. I even tried switching to Flowplayer today and that won’t even work.

Here’s the two pieces of code I used:

I decided to have my content un-protected for basic members as the content they download is all watermarked. The premium members on my site however are going to need protected links, so I need help with this situation.

LOL it seems I am solving my own problem here, but help would still be appreciated.

I just de-activated Wishlist Member and the video plays fine. So it seems there is a conflict between the two plugins with the way I have it setup. It’s strange because a friend of mine uses OptimizePress along with WishList Member and streams protected videos from S3 just fine.

I just did a test on the Twenty Eleven theme and the s3 protected content now plays fine. I was previously using OptimizePress as my theme as many other people I know are using OptimizePress and Ultimate LightBox together just fine.

I also have Wishlist Member installed on my site if that makes any difference to troubleshooting.
