OK – thanks. I created the theme, so I should be able to work it out.
flojnelMemberCould I create another menu for logged-in members only that would include just the private items and have that show on mobile only? Would there be any conflict with the existing one?
flojnelMemberI’m using that technique already when the sidebar is showing, but for mobile it’s not showing. Sounds like I can’t have the logged in items just be part of another menu? That would be ideal. Otherwise I’ll have to come up with a work around.
flojnelMemberThat sounds great, but won’t fit the requirements I’ve been given for the site. Is there no way to handle it with the regular wp menu? That would be best, but I imagine I could convert the sidebar menu to a select menu (showing only for logged in users).
flojnelMemberOne other difficulty – the old plan doesn’t end because it uses recurring payments. Sometimes it doesn’t renew, so people would be able to switch over to the new plan in that case. But sometimes it keeps working (renewing).
Should we ask those people to sign up for the new plan and then stop the recurring plan?
Thanks for your help.
flojnelMemberWould all of the members information be kept during the switch? Especially concerned that they wouldn’t have to recreate their classified ads.
(Sorry for the late reply – have been away from my office.)

May 11, 2013 at 2:19 am in reply to: eMember – only superadmin can access eMember in multisite #55526flojnelMemberFound the answer. Not an eMember issue at all. On the network settings page there’s an option “Enable administration menus” and the only checkbox is for plugins. Never noticed that before. As soon as I checked it, the problem was solved.
May 10, 2013 at 8:26 pm in reply to: eMember – only superadmin can access eMember in multisite #55524flojnelMemberI found code that lets admin edit other users, but that didn’t solve the issue. See [http://thereforei.am/2011/03/15/how-to-allow-administrators-to-edit-users-in-a-wordpress-network/]
flojnelMemberI just decided to go ahead and play with it. Going ok so far with creating new pages.
flojnelMemberNo, I understand how it works. I was just concerned that no pages were created on the subsite. I wanted to verify that if I create them using the shortcodes, there won’t be an issue.
I use a cloning plugin that will let me clone the other subsites from the first one I create, so I want to make sure I have the first one set up right (rather than fixing 20 sites!).
flojnelMemberThanks. What about the issue of it not creating the pages? If I just create the pages, will it work correctly?
flojnelMemberI added the shortcode to a page and it just shows the code, no button. Do I need to add any parameters or put it on a specific page?
Another question – would that automatically shut down the account? Say someone had signed up for a yearly plan and unsubscribed 2 months before the subscription ended? In that case I would want to tell them to wait until the end of their subscription period.
flojnelMemberThanks again!
flojnelMemberOne more question I guess. I couldn’t find the shortcode for a “cancel subscription” button. Can you point me to that documentation?
