Hi
The problem is only with Firefox – which doesn’t support html5 so is falling back to the flash player. It doesn’t autoplay and when you close the window, having played part of the video, and then re-open it, it plays with no sound. Here’s the same test page: http://www.modula4.net/test

Hmm. Thanks for the quick response. Firefox is still not autostarting on initial start up – though the video does now re-appear when you re-open the window. Having no sound when re-starting the video is a real problem though. Any ideas what is causing this? Presumably must be something up with the flash player?

Sorry guys but there is still a problem with the plugin. In Firefox if you close the popup window and then open it again you lose the video completely. You can get it to play again by clicking the pause button after a while but there is no sound with the video this time. Any ideas? Also the autostart doesn’t work in Firefox – I assume this is because it is using the flash fallback? Here’s the test page again: http://www.modula4.net/test

Thanks very much – it was the contact form messing things up. Works nicely now. Please let me know when you add the poster and autoplay functions as this will make it the perfect video plugin.

I’m afraid the update doesn’t seem to have worked. Nothing happens at all when you click on the link now (no popup or video). Here’s the test page: http://www.modula4.net/test/
Also I was wondering if it’s possible to add a poster image and get the video’s to autostart? Sorry, meant to ask these questions previously.

Yes, that’s right – I assumed the plugin already supported this for some reason. That would be great if you could update the plugin! Would make this an incredibly useful plugin.

Also. tried using the flowplayer and it doesn’t seem to work on any browser. I just get a blank popup window. The video is there as when you click on the popup window it links directly to the video which starts playing in the browser window. Any ideas?
Not particularly happy about having to pay for a plugin that doesn’t seem to work very well.
