thanks Peter I’ve given your recommendations a bit of thought….
it presents the same amount of ‘wading’ for the customer as the existing ‘problem I’m facing ….the trouble is if a photographer has, say 50 images (which is not very many by a Pro Photographer’s standards) ‘s then they would have to list 50 images within the ‘media type’ gallery and these images cannot be further refined (in my case my images are delineated by geographic region where they were shot – for ease of use for an end user wanting to find an image/region relatively easily) ….I think it would create more problems then it solves….having the lengthy price list seems relatively ‘clean’ by comparison…..
I must say if you were prepared to invest in new coding it wold be a worthwhile investment – I would be very doubtful if ANY photographer worth his salt sells his images on ONLY one type of media…thanks for your responses and look forward to hearing more….
Clayton HairsMemberthanks Peter….take a look at the page I have created using PhotoSeller here
[http://www.clayton-images.com/photogallery/photo_details/?gallery_id=4&image_id=732]
you will see I have had to list every possible size ) AS WELL AS every possible media I will print to….this means a huge list below every image….I would like to have 3 options for a potential client: Canvas Print, Fine Art Print and Acrylic Facemount Print….this way they can select the media they prefer and then the list of various sizes in that medium can be shown. That way there would need to be an enormous list below every image for the buyer to wade through….
looking forward to hearing from you
