With the amount of form package addons/plugins/extensions we have ever dealt with in the past and present, we have never come across this problem – whether they were free or purchased. We never expected something as simple as this to be an issue from a purchased plugin.

Could you say how far away this addon is from completion/being released? And will it be another cost to us?
