Hi guys, A strange problem that only started happening fairly recently. I have a website at
[https://brokenwings.com.au]
On the home page on the right hand side you will see a headline that reads ‘This Weeks Moment’. Under this are three YouTube videos. Click on the image and the Lightbox window opens and plays the video – in theory anyway. If you hit any of the videos, or in fact any other videos on our site, the same horrible formatting occurs. The border isn’t opening properly, the text under the window is outside the lightbox and there’s some message at the top of the frame mentioning “full screen unavailable”.
I’ve fooled around with settings on YouTube, on my website, within the Lightbox Ultimate settings, but nothing seems to make any difference. I’ve tried various versions of the code and that hasn’t worked either. Do you have any idea what the problem might be? These videos used to be fine and play perfectly on my site, so I can’t figure it out. If it’s of any help, this is a sample of the WordPress coding for the video at the top of the home page:
[wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_video link=”https://youtu.be/eRqIXrccewo” width=”600″ height=”450″ description=”Aeronautical engineer Simon Pettit has provided us with some fantastic interview material over the years. In this clip he gives us some insights into what is still buried in and around Oakey and the potential for aircraft to still be there, right under the noses of local farmers.” source=”https://brokenwings.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/simon_thumbnail.jpg” title=”Simon Pettit – Stuff Everywhere” img class=”aligncenter ” style=”margin-top: 0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-left:40px”]
Thanks for your help,
James.
November 30, 2016 at 11:45 pm #74711wpCommerceModeratorHi, What happens if you switch to a default WordPress theme temporarily (Example: Twenty 16/15). Please also remove those image parameters that we don’t support in the shortcode. This is how it should look like:

December 1, 2016 at 6:21 am #74712JimmyCMemberHi, I took your advice and tried one of the default WordPress themes and they do work. So it appears to be an Avada issue. I’m not sure where the error lies as it used to work beautifully. I’m guessing it must have something to do with the later versions of the Avada theme? Can you suggest anything else I can try?
Thanks so much

Did you keep any archive copies of the older theme versions, to test that theory? And if you did, and manage to “make it work again,” would there be any harm in running the older version?
December 1, 2016 at 11:02 pm #74714JimmyCMemberNo it’s not possible to run the old version. Isn’t it up to you guys to ensure your plugin works with a specific theme? Somewhere between Avada and Lightbox there’s been a screw up and you guys need to fix it.
December 2, 2016 at 1:26 am #74715wpCommerceModerator@JimmyC, I also see a foobox script that’s automatically enclosing our prettyPhoto popup code. Can you please disable that script and see how it goes?
December 2, 2016 at 9:39 am #74716JimmyCMemberI’ve decided to change everything over to FooBox today as it works straight away with no issues with the Avada theme. So thanks for your assistance.
