I have set up a new product a video download with the correct url , but after I purchase the item (testing) I receive the Paypal confirmation but nothing from the site with the url. Then upon redirect I receive the following error: You do not have permission to preview drafts.

I am not sure where to start? Help Please :)

    Kind regard,

    Karen

Are you able to manually generate links, using the Admin Functions, to the product?

Does the manually generated link work?

I have never tried this, would you be so kind to explain how I would do that or direct me to a link to follow.

    Thanks so much.

WordPress –> WP eStore –> Admin Functions

Fill in the Product ID of your product and click the “Generate Link” button. Then copy/paste the link into your browser address bar.

Ok, great. If the product is a video tutorial and not a PDF as shown in the tutorials, would you use the url from the media library or from a page?

    Thank you so much,

    Karen

Hi Karen, If you are letting them download the video tutorial ten you would use the URL of the video file.

If you want them to go to a page and watch the video on your site then you would use the URL of the page (where the actual video tutorial is).

If you are selling video tutorials, then you may be interested in using the pay per view feature:
