scammer was indeed trying something.

so what happens now, should i refund the scammer 0.01 amount? was he somehow able to download the product by paying .01 amount?

When you use WP eStore people cannot scam you buy using tricks like this. Basically, someone was trying to send fraudulent IPN but eStore stopped it. Nobody can get the download unless the payment is fully verified (in this case the verification failed). What you want to do with the $0.01 is up to you.

Hi Amin.

I was looking into my stats of adwords and statcounter, and found out that the scammer’s exit page was “thank you” page and he arrived from adword click.

So if someone uses delivery using thank you page, are they doomed?

also adwords didn’t registered the conversion, inspite of him coming via adwords and exiting through the thank you page which has conversion code? any idea?

Doesn’t matter what method of delivery you used. Until someone has legitimately paid you the price of the product no one can get the download links. Down links are only generated after the payment is verified and the way to get around that is to genuinely make a payment with the proper amount. WP eStore has guards against all kinds of fraud tricks. Does that make sense?
