WpeStore terms and conditions checkbox not checkable in sidebar widget

I have removed the sidebar widget because people cannot proceed to checkout as the terms and conditions checkbox cannot be checked, thus stalling the checkout process. I removed it and reinstalled it, but the problem persists.
