May 28, 2013 at 11:31 pm #55880wpCommerceModeratorHi, I’m glad to hear that you got it to work. If anyone wishes to display download links on the “Thank You” page please check the following documentation:

August 29, 2013 at 12:10 am #55881MargueritavMemberHi there. I’ve had a couple of emails from purchasers saying the link where they are supposed to download their purchase isn’t showing up. I am using the code: [wp_eStore_display_transaction_result].
I have been through all the settings and everything is set up as directed. Do you have any suggestions?

August 29, 2013 at 4:26 am #55882adminKeymasterHi Marguerita, Which payment gateway are you using?
Have you done all the steps explained in the following documentation?

August 29, 2013 at 11:27 pm #55884adminKeymasterokay good. Have you done a test transaction yourself to see if it is working or not?
March 8, 2017 at 12:57 am #55885guzieMemberI see this is an old thread but will post my problem here.
We have followed the video and instructions very close. This is the error we get on our thank you page when we click on the encrypted link on our thank you page.
This site can’t be reached
The webpage at [https://donwrightmusic.com/?enc_dl_action=process&file=v4fIv%2BvC0SIVxlYt] might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE
I’ve contacted our hosting provider and they say it is not on their end.
Here is our thank you page – donwrightmusic.com/thank-you
We are doing a live test with a test page but using a live one dollar purchase.
Here is the test page.
donwrightmusic.com/test/
We tried doing a test via sandbox mode but cannot get it to work using the developer mode testing account?
Debug is turned on and all results are a “success” no errors.
Would like some help as to why we cannot get the link to work.

March 8, 2017 at 1:05 pm #55886wzpModeratorFor clarification: Your Thank You page really ***DOES WORK*** but you are getting the error ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE when you click on a download link, that is on the page?
I am trying to understand if the issue is with the encrypted product download link ON the page or the thank you page itself is not working.
March 9, 2017 at 2:18 am #55887guzieMemberThe thank you page is working fine. After purchase, the customer is redirected to our thank you page. The encrypted link is there via paypal instructions. But when I click on this link it gives us the following error.
“The webpage at [https://donwrightmusic.com/?enc_dl_action=process&file=v4fIv%2BvC0SIVxlYt] might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.”
Our hosting co. says everything is fine on their end.
The Problem is (I think) the encrypted download link. But we need to pinpoint the problem…either at paypal, hosting or the plugin itself?
Need an answer soon. Thanks for your help.

March 9, 2017 at 3:53 am #55888wzpModeratorThe error definitely occurs AFTER the buyer clicks the download link.
- Is the problem limited ONLY to a particular product download?
- If you use the eStore Admin Functions to manually generate a download link for that product; does the generated link work?
- Instead of clicking on the link, what happens if you copy/paste the displayed link into your browser’s address bar?
March 13, 2017 at 11:44 pm #55889adminKeymasterWhat value are you using for the “Download Limit Count” field in the settings? It maybe that you are using a very tight value and your thank you page is reloading a couple of times which is expiring the download link.
