Hello,
I recently upgraded to version 1.8.6 three days ago and now when you click “View Cart” I get the page that says “Your shopping card is empty”.
I’ve also noticed that the WP Photo Seller widget doesn’t load when I choose it for the gallery pages and I’m wondering if that’s related?
I’ve tried removing recent plugins, I’ve deactivated, deleted and re-installed this theme again, deleted the .htaccess file as suggested in another solution, cleared cache (and I have no cache clearing plugins that I can see) and am at a complete loss.
It was working perfectly before I upgraded and I’m currently at a major horse competition trying to sell my photos and this is preventing me from earning money.
I thought this issue was similar but couldn’t get it to help me: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/wp-photoseller-view-cart-button-error-on-gallery-images-shortcodes-not-work
My website is: [http://ozdressage.com/eventphotography/]
Please help me ASAP as I need to fix it quickly.
Thanks so much for your help.
January 23, 2015 at 6:37 am #68207PeterMemberThe latest version should not affect the cart or widget because the changes made were not in that area.
I think something else on your site is interfering with the photo seller.
Can you enable debug if it isn’t already enabled?
Also I want you to try a few tests to see if something is conflicting with the photo seller plugin:
If after you try the above you still haven’t resolved the issue let us know and we will take a closer look.
January 23, 2015 at 10:51 am #68208ozdressageMemberHi, thanks for the quick reply, much appreciated.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
– I’ve enabled debug.
– I’ve already uninstalled any plugins that I added since I upgraded 3 days ago and there was no change.
– I’ve also deactivated ALL my plugins except WP Photo Seller and no change.
– I’ve changed the post naming to default, deleted the .htaccess file and changed back to “post name” – no change.
– I’ve just contacted my hosting provider and confirmed there are no PHP session issues on their end and that “session.save_path = /tmp” is in the php.ini file already
– the site URL and wordpress URL are the same
Also as I mentioned above the widget does not work either the sidebar which I don’t understand and I can’t help think they must be related to each other.
Thanks for your help and let me know what to do next.

January 23, 2015 at 11:21 pm #68210PeterMemberDuring your theme/plugin conflict tests, did you revert to a default wordpress theme (eg, twentythirteen) and test to see if the photo seller was working?
January 23, 2015 at 11:56 pm #68211ozdressageMemberIf I switch to a default theme to test it and then go back to my current theme, will I lose any information on my site? I am worried about that.
January 24, 2015 at 12:03 am #68212PeterMemberNo you won’t lose anything.
January 24, 2015 at 12:09 am #68213ozdressageMemberOk, I’ve just done the following:
– changed to Twentythirteen theme and kept all my current plugins listed above – still view cart returns “no items in cart” response.
– kept Twentythirteen theme and deactivated all my current plugins except for WP Photo Seller – again, same response.
January 24, 2015 at 12:45 am #68214PeterMemberOk thanks.
We will be in touch to get some login details.
January 24, 2015 at 6:54 am #68215PeterMemberThis turned out to be a general DB issue not related to the photo seller plugin. There were many server logs being generated for various tables which included general WP tables and also photo seller tables which stated that the table was “marked as crashed and should be repaired”.
The immediate fix involved doing a “repair” and “optimize” of the database.
