Have setup my shop to sell digital downloads with different resolutions to use Paypal. The check out procedure does not ask for any customer details or registration and completes the purchase with paypal of which no further information is provided on how to obtain your digital download.
Is there an additional Word press page that needs to be setup for the digital download page? What is missing here?
May 5, 2014 at 11:07 pm #62710PeterMemberThere is no special download page to set up. The encrypted download link will be automatically sent to the buyer using the email address from their paypal account after they’ve made the payment.
Have you done a full checkout test?
August 12, 2014 at 2:07 pm #62711scottyk49MemberHi,
I have setup my test paypal accounts with sandbox, I can purchase images from my site and pay with sandbox paypal account and the buyer gets reciept email but no thankyou emial or File download email.
What is the full check out test ?
Thanks,
Scott

August 12, 2014 at 11:45 pm #62713scottyk49MemberHi
Ok I am using a friends new live real paypal account and it gets the Paypal receipt of the purchase but still no emails with the D/L files link. I get the Paypal order confirmation but thats it. How does the purchaser get their files ?
Thanks,
Scott
August 13, 2014 at 12:46 am #62714adminKeymasterThe download links for the photos are sent to the customer immediately after payment.
Lets see what is wrong with your setup.
Do you have the PayPal IPN feature enabled in your PayPal account? Check the video in the following page for details on how to enable it (if you don’t have it enabled already):
Please enable the debug option in the plugin settings, then do another test transaction.
What is the URL of your photo gallery page?
December 27, 2014 at 9:12 pm #62715massagenerdMemberI can’t get mine to work. I enabled my PayPal IPN feature, and it still doesn’t work.

I get an email from paypal for the receipt (the one I bought the photo with) and I get a notification that I received money from paypal…But I don’t get an email to download the photo….been waiting 30 minutes so far.
December 27, 2014 at 11:24 pm #62716adminKeymasterPlease enable the debug option in the plugin settings, then do another test transaction. Then we will be able to check a few things on your site.
December 27, 2014 at 11:33 pm #62717massagenerdMemberI enabled it.
December 28, 2014 at 11:04 pm #62718adminKeymasterI have checked your log file and I can confirm that the plugin is working correctly. It definitely sent all the emails after the purchase. See the following lines from the log file
Buyer email successfully sent to: [philamrochestermn@gmail.com]

The email is just not arriving in the inbox. The following post will help you fix the email issue on your server:
