Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP Photo Seller › WP Photo Seller – When I select a photo from Media Library it makes another copy
Tagged: photo seller
HI,
I’ve had issues with getting photos uploaded. I have plenty of memory. Already dealt with that.
But an example would be, I’d add 10 photos and 4 of them would not upload with errors. So I tried your bulk upload with the zip file. I gave up after several attempts where it never uploaded. It would recognize that there was a zip file there but after twenty minutes say it failed. I searched the forums but no one else seems to be having this issue.
So then I was faced with adding photos one at a time. I decided to try another plugin – Advanced Upload – It works great for uploading the large photos/albums. But now I’ve got an issue with double photos. When I go to Photo Seller Gallery and select the photo from the Media Library instead of it just adding the photos to the photo seller gallery, it makes another copy. I end up with two copies. I do not want two huge copies of these photos on there. It takes up too much space.
I thought maybe it had something to do with the other way to upload but it doesn’t. I can upload a photo directly to wordpress’s media library – go to my photo seller gallery, add a photo selecting it from my media library and whala, I have 2 copies.
Why is it creating a second copy of the photos? And how do I fix this?
Thank you for your help.
Hi, The following post has explanation for it:

Thank you.
So just to make sure I’m understanding things correctly – I can delete the original that I uploaded and it will not affect the photo that is now in photo seller’s gallery?
Yes, that is correct.
Thank you.
