Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP Photo Seller › WP Photo Seller – Scroll to section buttons not working
Hello,
I am using the Brooklyn theme by United Themes. The theme has built-in scroll-to-section functionality. E.g. if I use the link [www.website.com/#section-about] it will scroll to that section of the page. However, after installing the WP Photo Seller plugin this stops working. Disabling the plugin fixes the problem.
I suspect this may be something related to JavaScript, but have not been able to identify the source of the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem with other themes? Or any ideas how I could fix this?
Thanks in advance.
Can you provide a link to the page with the “built-in scroll-to-section functionality”?
Also make sure you have photo seller active too – I want to observe the page using firebug to figure out what’s going on.
Thanks for getting back to me. Here’s a link to the page: [https://www.thebasingstokestudio.co.uk/]
The button that should scroll is called “What We Do”, which should scroll to section directly below the main image.
Here is a link to a demo version of the theme if you want to compare against a working scroll button: [http://themeforest.unitedthemes.com/wpversions/brooklyn/landing/]
Many Thanks
I’ve sent you an email with an updated zip for you to try.
Thanks Peter,
I tried the updated zip file, but unfortunately this has not fixed the problem. Now the main image slider on the homepage does not show at all along with some other elements on different page, such as image galleries.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Update: The developers of the plugin provided me with a updated version of the plugin, which fixed the problem.
