We always take comments and suggestions by our users seriously and if they are viable and popular enough, we eventually implement these as new features.
Currently the plugin will automatically use the thumbnail generated when you upload your image. We will investigate to see if what you are asking for can be done relatively easily, otherwise we will put this on our list of possible future features.

At the moment this is not available but this feature is definitely something we are planning to introduce in a future update.
January 3, 2014 at 3:10 am #58490prorecluseMemberI’m also interested in displaying larger thumbnails on the photo gallery page. Right now, they just aren’t even close to being enticing for potential customers.
January 3, 2014 at 10:54 pm #58491adminKeymasterYou can actually make the thumbnails larger by using CSS. I will be interested to add another photo display template that shows larger thumbnails though. Can you give me a visual example of what you are after (how large the thumbnails should be)?
March 7, 2014 at 2:12 pm #58492pitshopMemberI am also interested in setting Keywords and Categories to each image.
QUESTION: (=== You can actually make the thumbnails larger by using CSS.)
WHich CSS is involved in that?
March 8, 2014 at 3:10 am #58493PeterMemberAdjusting thumbsizes using CSS will be messy and not recommended because the images being used are specially sized for that template, eg, 150×150 etc.
If we could get some more info regarding what you need, we could potentially create another template which will suit your needs.
What size thumbnails are you after?
Also which gallery template did you want larger sized thumbnails for?
If possible, can you also answer the question posed earlier by Admin to @prorecluse:
“Can you give me a visual example of what you are after (how large the thumbnails should be)?”
September 23, 2014 at 4:30 pm #58494Dennis GranzowMemberI would like to see gallery thumbnails about three times larger than they are now. Is there a feature on the horizon that would allow me to do that?
September 24, 2014 at 2:24 am #58495PeterMemberHi Dennis,
Can you provide us with a visual example of what you are after?
September 25, 2014 at 3:35 am #58496Dennis GranzowMemberI switched to template 7, and that works well for me. Thumbnails are large enough.
