WP Photo Seller – payment and shipping options

Hi,

I bought this plugin today after reading the doucmentation. So far it seems great but I need to do 2 fairly simple (I would hope) things.

1. I need to offer a free/local pick up shipping option. (Some of my prints are too big to post and I have a lot of local customers.

2. I would like to offer my customers the option of paying by Bank Transfer/Cheque rather than paypal. Essentially all this would need to do would be to place the order into a pending state until I approve it.

I can’t work this out from the documentation at all.

Can anyone help please?

Hello Ows, in regards to your 2 questions?

1. I need to offer a free/local pick up shipping option. (Some of my prints are too big to post and I have a lot of local customers……Maybe one way to achieve this right now would be to add a link to a page or contact form for the buyer to submit, requesting a local pick up and maybe payment on pick as well just like Ebay offers.

2. I would like to offer my customers the option of paying by Bank Transfer/Cheque rather than paypal. Essentially all this would need to do would be to place the order into a pending state until I approve it. ……. This option of allowing different payment gateways is coming in a future release. You will see that on the landing page of this plugin, currently it only claims PayPal as the gateway.

@ows, we are in the process of adding a manual/offline checkout option in the photo seller plugin. When this feature is completed, it will take care of both the points you mentioned. We should have the manual/offline checkout option completed in a few days time.

Hi, Is there any update on the manual payment option yet please? I need to get this implemented within the next couple of days if possible. A timescale on when this might be ready would be great.

Also, where do I find the latest version of the plugin to download please?

On the plugin landing page it states that the latest version is 1.4.5 but when I installed it it says it’s 1.4.6.
