Hi
I want my clients to have a minimum purchase oder and with their order they get a black and white images.
Iv got packages for example x amount $$ for 10 photos. But If i had more than 10 nice photos from the session I want them to be able to choose which ones they want to purchase with a minimum order and possibly purchase more than 10 photos.
Then when they buy the coloured photos they are entitled to the black and white image as well?
Can anyone help or if anyone knows how I can do this. I dont want to do photo shoots then only to have client buy a couple of photos

Your scenario sounds like a good feature but currently it is not available.
Having said that, the photo seller plugin does have the functionality to sell complete galleries, so you could use that feature to at least offer your customers the ability to purchase “packages” of photos.
In the meantime we will need to think about your suggestion to see how we could implement it.

No this option wont work out for me I want my client to have the freedom to access a full gallery and choose their favourite images of a minimum order and then have the ability to purchase extras along with it. Id love a feature also to be able to pair coloured images with black and white so when purchasing they get the black and white as well.
November 12, 2014 at 5:44 am #66720natbMemberHow does the coupons work? Could I use a coupon where they purchase 10 they get 50% off to encourage them to buy the whole package? Im just thinking Iv just paid $80 for a plugin that I dont think Im going to use now!
How long does it take to implement a new feature like this? Could we please create a feature of a minimum order in the payment settings?

You can easily create a coupon which can give 50% off when the total number of photos at checkout are greater than a certain number. In your case, you would set the “Coupon Conditions” to:
“If Total Product Quantity is greater than 9”.

To implement what you want is reasonably complex. It’s not a walk in the park that’s for sure. The photo seller plugin is constantly evolving and becoming more feature-rich and better with every release. We try our best to implement features which will be useful based on feedback from our customers.
Your suggestion is useful, but it can’t be done in a matter of days. If you can be patient and wait then we will eventually implement it and ask you to test it first for us.
November 12, 2014 at 11:26 pm #66722natbMemberyes please I think it will be very beneficial for photographers like me. I want my clients to have the freedom and control to choose their images for their chosen package and possibly buy extra, making it a win win. Its a lovely plugin. I might try the coupon and see how that goes until there is a better way for me to sell images.
Will I be emailed when this new feature is born?
January 19, 2015 at 9:16 pm #66723SisuileMemberAre packages under development, as implied here? Because I know a lot of photographers use them, esp for physical portraits and weddings. It’s the model I have things build on now, and I want to be able to continue to use them.
