Okay I have a problem or a request not sure which.
My gallery files (individual photos) are big as in 5,472 x 3,648 ( I want the 3 option sizes for digital downloads). High Res, Med, and Low.
Here is the problem, I want the Preview images sizes in the Galleries to be 1,200 x 800 pixels. So how do I have my preview images display this size, yet still have the capability to download and purchase the original image size?
Also I’m having trouble getting my photos to appear, I want the ightbox option.
Example…

Please advise
Thanks!
August 30, 2014 at 11:56 pm #65238PeterMemberWhen I look at your page with firebug I can see the following error:
NetworkError: 404 Not Found – [http://www.muledeerphotography.com/wp-content/uploads/wp_photo_seller/1/watermark_IMG_9377.jpg]
It appears that your watermarked images are not being created.
What is your server setting for the php memory_limit value?
It could be that since your images a very large you might have insufficient memory on your server.
To troubleshoot further:
1) Please enable logging on the WP Photo Seller plugin: go to Settings->Testing and Debugging and enable logging using the drop down box.
2) Then go to your gallery settings and change a setting in the watermark section, eg, font size. This will force the plugin to recreate the watermark images as soon as you hit the save gallery button. A popup window will appear – allow the plugin to complete this process.
3) Once you have done 1) and 2), let us know so we can check the logs.

Thanks
September 1, 2014 at 1:37 am #65240muleymadnessMemberMemory limit is 94M (should be plenty correct?)
I’ve increased the post_max_size to = 32M and upload_max_filesize to = 32M
Can I view the logging file after I check yes? Where is it stored?
September 1, 2014 at 3:39 am #65241muleymadnessMemberOne other side note, my watermark images now work but the drop down list placement is messed up.
If I select bottom right (it displays at top right)
If I select bottom left (it displays to bottom right)
Can you add the option to have bottom centered?
September 1, 2014 at 3:54 am #65242PeterMemberMemory limit is 94M (should be plenty correct?)
Not necessarily. We recommend at least 128M but more is better.
If I select bottom right (it displays at top right)
If I select bottom left (it displays to bottom right)
This was fixed recently. You obviously have a slightly older copy of the plugin.
Someone from the team will send you a later version.
Can you add the option to have bottom centered?
We will put this on our TODO list. We will also add top centered while we’re at it.
September 3, 2014 at 9:24 pm #65243muleymadnessMemberHave never received the newest version like you stated??
September 3, 2014 at 11:43 pm #65244muleymadnessMemberAlso I have another problem, not sure what happened. After I click add to cart then ‘view cart’, the view cart page does not open or appear and it simply redirects me back to the main thumbnail gallery page??
See here…

September 4, 2014 at 1:31 am #65245PeterMemberSorry – someone will send you a zip file.
Try that and if you still have those other issues not related to load speed we will take it from there.
September 5, 2014 at 11:32 pm #65246muleymadnessMemberSo the update fixed my above problem sort of, but now I have several problems…
Issues…
1. When I click the continue shopping button after adding an image to cart, I get a 404 page error.
2. Also when I check ‘Preview Photo via Page’ option, the images don’t appear at all now and I get the same 404 error page. I’m not wanting this item checked, but need it to work. I prefer lightbox
3. On mobile ( iphone5s) the cart is not mobile friendly. I’m stuck with out the ability to scroll or see the entire page?
4. So in fine, updating my version created new issues I didn’t have before. Isn’t there a better method for getting the new version besides manually asking for it and deleting old one and installing new? Seems a bit ridiculous to me. Why can’t we get an auto update via wordpress admin like everything else when a new version is ready?
5. I like your software, lots of potential and one of the the better options out there, but still very buggy.
6. I’d still love to see the ability to pull and display the EXIF data on photos, photographers like/need this. Especially on lightbox is my preference. I’ve seen this done before and know it’s possible and can’t be to difficult?

September 6, 2014 at 1:11 am #65247PeterMember1. When I click the continue shopping button after adding an image to cart, I get a 404 page error.
Do you mean the “continue shopping” button in green box just after you added to the cart in the popup box? I just tried it on your site and it worked fine for me.
However the cart page “continue shopping” button shows 404. This is a settings issue not a bug. The page you have chosen for “continue shopping” doesn’t exist. Go to the “settings” menu and scroll down to the “Continue Shopping” section. You can choose a page there where people will be directed to when they click that button.
2. Also when I check ‘Preview Photo via Page’ option, the images don’t appear at all now and I get the same 404 error page. I’m not wanting this item checked, but need it to work. I prefer lightbox
I’d have to look at your site to see what’s going on here.
You may have accidentally deleted the default photo details page.
Try going to the Admin Functions menu and clicking “Regenerate Default Pages” button.
3. On mobile ( iphone5s) the cart is not mobile friendly. I’m stuck with out the ability to scroll or see the entire page?
Tell which pages and scenarios in particular and we will address them.
4. So in fine, updating my version created new issues I didn’t have before.
Like I said, the first issue you stated appears to work fine or can easily be corrected via the settings.
The other issues I’d have to check.
6. I’d still love to see the ability to pull and display the EXIF data on photos, photographers like/need this. Especially on lightbox is my preference. I’ve seen this done before and know it’s possible and can’t be to difficult?
We will look into this. We are always looking for ways to improve this plugin and we also take feedback from our customers seriously.
September 6, 2014 at 3:52 pm #65248muleymadnessMemberPeter,
Thanks for the reply, I’ve fixed all issues with your help (THANKS) except for number 3.
After adding an item/image it cart on mobile (iPhone 5s) then when I click on view cart. Is the view cart still suppose to appear in a pop up box or window? Mine is not, but appears on a static page, this page is NOT mobile friendly. I can’t see the entire page, and can’t scroll at all? Please see my link above to my ‘lighting’ gallery and you’ll see what I mean hopefully.
Also, is their anyway to make this more responsive on smaller devices (phones, iPods, etc.) I mean I still have to scroll around, swipe left and right when adding and viewing to cart etc. Sure be nice to have it more mobile friendly.
One other issue, the pagination on my phone at the bottom of my gallery with multiple pages does layout correctly. (see attached image). I’d like to see the word ‘displaying’ removed entirely. It’s not needed or necessary and I believe this would fix the problem very easily.

Thanks

September 9, 2014 at 12:44 am #65250PeterMemberI’d like to see the word ‘displaying’ removed entirely.
I think this is a reasonable point. We will modify the wording accordingly.

Yes that’s normal behaviour as far as the cart page not being displayed inside a popup but in its own page.
We are currently investigating an appropriate solution which will make this page mobile friendly.
September 9, 2014 at 1:05 am #65251muleymadnessMemberThanks for the info…
I’m also having trouble with thumbnails appearing on albums, any help here? Tried uploading and selecting from my current media library and neither work.
