Before importing all my images into Photo Seller, each one has both a Title and Caption entered into the Meta Data.
PhotoSeller is displaying the Title, but I am having to edit each photo to re enter the Caption.
Is it not possible for Photo Seller to add the Caption from the Meta Data ?
We don’t use the caption in our plugin at the moment. Where will the caption be used?
We do actually use the “caption” field. We use it when someone searches for photos via our special search shortcode. If you have data entered in the caption field and someone searches a keyword which is contained inside that field then the search function will find it.
I am guessing that you want to display the caption in the photo details page. Is that right?
If so, currently that is not possible but you can still display the photo “description” and/or “Alternative text” on the details page if you have data in those fields.
