Hi Peter,
After working with WP Photo Seller for about a year, I thought I would share some of the things I would love to see someday. Of course, I don’t expect these ideas to be added but if you see any value in them >>>> I think they would be really neat!
a-) Rating (like stars 1 through 5) photos and being able to filter based on ratings. The idea here is that if you set a gallery as proofs and invite the client to view the proofs on your site, they can quickly go through the photos and rank them with a star if they like the image, no star if they don’t. They could then filter and show just the images they ranked with 1 star, 2 stars, 3 etc. It would be even cooler if they could rank everything one star on the first pass through, then filter, then go through these 1 star images and rate 2 stars to some, filter, repeat, until they get to the batch of photos they would like to purchase.
b-) A>B comparison. Sometimes when you try and decide between two proofs, you go back and forth from image to image and maybe get confused as to which one you prefer. Having a way to open both in a “compare” pop up would be a neat way to make this process easier. You could combine that with the rating system above!
c-) Better responsive settings. I would really like to see better control over the number of columns in the thumbnail grid and how these display on mobile and tablets. As an example, currently my thumbs show on mobile 2 per row and I think it would be nicer 1 per row. I think I can fix that with CSS, however, an out of the box “better responsive layouts” would be a great add to the plugin.
Cheers! Best for 2017 to all!
Chris
Hi Chris – and happy new year to you too!
Thanks for your suggestions – I will send you an email to discuss further.
Hi Peter,
While on the topic of email, how does one go about changing the email address that we used when we purchased the plugin?
