WP Photo Seller – email address different from Easy WP SMTP's one

Hi there, just wanted to ask if it should be possible to configure an e-mail address in Photo Seller different from the one configured in Easy WP SMTP plug-in.

The fact is that I used something like orders@mydomain.com in Photo Seller and something like contact@mydomain.com (both same domain), but Photo Seller is using contact@mydomain.com.

Am I doing something wrong or is the use of two different accounts simply not feasible?

The SMTP plugin will override the email headers (including the from email address). Is there an option in that plugin to no specify any from email address (so it doesn’t override the address)?

I have just checked and no, the Easy WP SMTP plug-in requires a “from” address, and it is the only way I know to enable the e-mail service in WP.

Does anybody know another option?

When using SMTP, it will unfortunately use that ONE email address you used in that plugin’s configuration.

I personally don’t think it is a big issue though. You can have a generic email address like “support@yourdomain.com” and then use it for all outgoing emails. It is ok to use the same signature for all your outgoing mails (it definitely helps with email delivery rate).
