Hi,
Is it possible to customise the permailnks in WP photo seller. Ive had a go and it seems to disrupt / make link pages unfindable.
Thanks
September 24, 2013 at 6:34 pm #57928KeithMemberAs long as the .htaccess file is writable, after changing permalinks, that file should be updated and things should work smoothly..
I know that answer isn’t specific to Photo Seller, but I’m not sure it has to be
Let me know.
September 25, 2013 at 9:50 am #57929rawserMemberThanks for your reply. The other permalinks on my WP site are cutomisable.
However within the Photo Seller plugin if I change the ‘photogallery’ page permalink it will no longer link from the thumbnails through to the corresponding gallery.
Any ideas please?
September 25, 2013 at 11:35 pm #57930adminKeymasterIs there a particular reason for changing the permalinks of those auto generated pages? I didn’t think anyone would need to change those permalinks so I am trying to understand where this requirement is coming from.
September 27, 2013 at 9:10 am #57931rawserMemberHi, thanks for your reply. I try to keep permalinks cosistent with title pages pages throughout my site. The type of work / audience / target market I aim for is quite specific so I need the site to look professional and visually cohesive, as well as it being important my SEO.

December 22, 2013 at 6:13 am #57934juliegollMemberHi, I am new to Photo Seller – but I made my site with wordpress on my own domain. When I was happy with the way it looked, I then changed the site url to the root directory of the site rather than the word press site. The rest if the site looks good, but now my WP Photo Seller photos are not showing? I followed the instructions from http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory.
Does anyone have any ideas I can get the photos to work now please?
December 22, 2013 at 10:26 pm #57935adminKeymasterWhat version of photo seller plugin are you using? Can you post a link to your gallery page?
January 8, 2014 at 9:00 pm #57936snapshotMemberHello, new user Snapshot again,
I have a similar question. I changed menu item to “Galleries” from Photo Sellers “Photo Album” menu button. Using the short code I was able to make the galleries page load the albums and when clicked get them to open the galleries.
The problem is that when I click the individual images of the gallery, the photo link / id shows int eh address bar but does not open anywhere. i believe if I knew where this page(s) are stored, I could link to the photos. Is this possible?
Or would it be better to restart the process go back to the Photo Seller menu items and change the permalinks?
Thanks again for any helpful advice

You didn’t have to do that. The plugin automatically creates an album page for you when you save an album in the settings. Tampering with the existing pages is probably not the best way to do things because it will have effects on other pages etc.
Can you tell me exactly what you’re trying to achieve and I can try and give you a solution?
