On my WordPress 4.9.5 site [https://www.danieleamisano.com/photography/store/] I have WP Photo seller 2.3.3.
Last week I uploaded my images, using the site under http protocol, and everything went ok.
Now, for GDPR, I have to switch my site enterely under HTTPS and now comes the trouble.
In WP, under settings -> general I changed both url from http to https version.
On my site everything else was fine but the WP Photo Seller gallery didn’t show the thumbnails anymore.
If I set the WP urls with the http protocol and try to see my site in https mode I can see everything perfect.
The problem is that I’ve to force the https site to be complaint with the gdpr law.
I tried also some plugins that force every page to be seen in https but everyone brake the thumbnails view as well.
I can’t do too many tries on my site because it’s alive and my customers are placing orders, I created an hidden album [https://www.danieleamisano.com/photography/store/gallery8/] but I can’t switch the site enterely in https or the other gallery will broke.
Besides I noticed that:
– logging in my site in http I can create a gallery and uploading 1 image everything works fine – logging in my site in https if I upload another 1 image in the same gallery, I see the image in the gallery admin page but it doesn’t show up surfing the gallery on the site.
This thing is driving me crazy…
Thanks
Daniele

Which ones have you tried?

No solution at the moment.

Try the following:
– Using FTP or CPANEL go to the following directory:
…./wp-content/uploads/wp_photo_seller
– Edit the .htaccess file and look for the line which contains your site URL. If it contains “http” change it to “https” and then save the .htaccess file and re-upload to the above directory.
The above should fix your issue.

Go to the “Admin Functions” menu of the plugin and click on the “Refresh htaccess” button.
