After I create a new gallery or add an image to an existing gallery that is 300dpi and 8mb or under, I get an error message in the media library if uploading from my PC that says ‘An error occurred in the upload, please try again later. If I choose an image (300dpi) from the media gallery and click save, I get the following two errors:
WARNING: Illegal string offset ‘file’ in /homepages/5/d244354344/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-seller/admin/gallery-manage.php on line 247
WARNING: Illegal string offset ‘file’ in /homepages/5/d244354344/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-seller/models/WPSGalleryItem.php on line 132
After the errors, I am redirected to the gallery and the thumbnail is broken (meaning not displayed) Then I go to the page of the gallery and see that the image is not displayed and has the following errors when I click the image or add to cart. Keep in mind that the files were in my media gallery that had been uploaded at an earlier date.
Warning: getimagesize(/homepages/5/d244345344/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/wp_photo_seller/17/Duke-FB-2011_293a_rev11.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/5/d244345344/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-seller/models/WPSCommon.php on line 2277
No matter what I try or do, I cannot get a 300dpi image to work or display correctly. I have talked to the ISP for almost two hours now and I am still at the same point when I first encountered the issue.
PHP version 5.5
WP version 3.8.1
WP photo seller version 1.6.5
PHP memory limit 120mb
upload_max_filesize 40mb
I cannot continue to troubleshoot this issue. I have spent over 10 plus hours. The galleries that I have created that are working required me to reduce my file size to 150dpi so I cannot offer a high resolution file (300dpi) to my customers and based on prior sales, this is costing me sales. Please help and if you need access to the site please let me know. My number is 919-730-7154.
Thank You,

Someone from our team will be in contact with you to get login details so we can investigate further.
In addition, when you reply to our email with your login details, could you please also include some examples of those images which you are having problems uploading so we can try the same test on our test site.
March 19, 2014 at 7:31 pm #61703rubyimageMemberI’m having the same problem.

March 19, 2014 at 11:47 pm #61705PeterMemberI emailed you regarding my conclusions from the investigations on your site.
In summary the problem lies with your server because it is not able to handle the processing of large images.
Even when not using the Photo Seller plugin to upload a large 300dpi image, ie, when using the native WP media menu uploader, your system hangs during the upload.
Your site says that the “Maximum upload file size: 8MB” whereas on my server it is “Maximum upload file size: 128MB”
The only people that can solve your issues are you host providers. Ask them to increase your “upload_max_size” to 128MB if possible or some higher value than it currently is.
Also ask them to check the value of the “memory_limit” parameter – I recommend this be at least 128M or higher.
If your provider cannot accommodate you with these requests due to your current plan/package then I suggest you upgrade to a better server or move to another hosting solution. If you want to run a photography business then you need a server which will cater for your needs.
