I have protected videos (MP4) in S3 and everything is working just fine but on iPhone4 videos are not showing because of fancybox doesn’t pop up. If I am embedding, iPhone4 shows those nicely.
Testpage is here: [http://www.katiska.info/ejulkaisut/luentomateriaalit-e-kirja/luento-urheilukoiran-palauttaminen/tthq/]
Used shortcode is [wp_lightbox_anchor_text_protected_s3_video name=”luennot/urheilukoiran_palauttaminen_1-4.mp4″ bucket=”e-matsku” width=”640″ height=”480″ text=”Osa 1: Tervetuloa”]
The shortcode
[wp_lightbox_embed_protected_s3_video name=”luennot/urheilukoiran_palauttaminen_1-4.mp4″ bucket=”e-matsku” width=”640″ height=”480″ text=”Part 1: Welcome”]
works.
I couldn’t find any javascript errors, and all other fancyboxes installed on the site. Mobile theme by Jetpack is on, but disabling it didn’t help.
Videos work on iPad2 without any problems.
Some ideas?

July 17, 2014 at 12:15 am #64393wpCommerceModeratorHi, the popup works fine on iPhone 4. Please do the following theme test and see how it goes.

July 17, 2014 at 9:13 am #64394KatiskaMemberI’ve tried that. Thwenty Fourteen and all other but yours were disabled. Doesn’t help. 4S works, but 4 not. Strange. Re-download form of eStore doesn’t work either but that’s not topic here
July 17, 2014 at 12:35 pm #64395wzpModeratorPerhaps this might explain the reason you are having problems with the 4 and not the 4s:
Both the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S are capable of running iOS 5, iOS 6, and iOS 7, but specific features supported by each operating system are different on each device. The iPhone 4 fully supports iOS 5, but only partially supports iOS 6 and iOS 7. The iPhone 4S, on the other hand, fully supports iOS 5 and iOS 6, but only partially supports iOS 7.
The iPhone 4S will support iOS 8 to some extent, but the iPhone 4 does not support iOS 8 at all.
Engineers call this “graceful degradation of capabilities,” for older models. Chances are, you won’t be able to get the site to properly display on an iPhone 1, 2 or 3 either.

I’ll be back if I found something new
Thanks.
