WP Lightbox Ultimate – PDF Not Loading on Mobile Devices

Hi Guys,

Seriously love your WP Lightbox Ultimate plugin. I’m amazed by its flexibility and your instructional videos are fantastic and so simple to follow. But back to my problem. On our home page at broken wings.com.au we have at the top below the slider a story about some documents. If you’re on a PC or a Mac When you click on the thumbnail, the window opens and you can browse the document. However, when you view the webpage on an iPhone or an iPad, the window opens but the pdf document does not appear. The window remains blank. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Does your mobile device have a PDF reader application?

Yes my iPhone6 does have a pdf reader application. But if the pdf is coming up in the pop up window, surely you don’t need a pdf application anyway. It’s like if you click on the linked file on your computer, it’s not opening Adobe Acrobat to enable you to see the connected pdf file.

I couldn’t wait any longer for an answer on how to fix my problem. All other pdf documents open fine on my iPhone and IPad, so I know it’s not an issue with the native pdf reader. I’ve had to make the the link open on a new page as I couldn’t get the pdf to display in the lightbox on the home page.

I am having the same issue. Lighbox is not opening pdf on mobile devices. It opens fine on my PC but not mobile. If we cannot get this to work then it is pointless to have the plugin so please help. I am using a Divi theme. Am a little desperate at this point .
