Hi!
After updating my WordPress installation to 3.2, I have found that WP Light Box Ultimate is not working well.
Overlay does not open up, and an image or a video opens up at their destination URL. (e.g: a video opens up in YouTube when clicked on the anchor text)
Is it only me who has this issue?
Help required…

The new WordPress uses a new version of the JQuery libary so if your browser has the old version cache you will see this issue. Simply delete the current version of lightbox and get a fresh build from here:

Then clear cache and stuff and refresh the page.

I tried what you said. But unfortunately, the problem persists.
Have a look at this page:
July 8, 2011 at 1:02 am #34057wpCommerceModeratorI tried your shortcode on my site where I have WordPress 3.2. The overlay is working fine. Have you installed any new theme or plugin recently?
The easiest way to find the issue will be to do the following test –
let me know how it goes.
July 8, 2011 at 11:57 am #34058sudeepshroffMemberHi
I use Canvas Theme from Woothemes.
The plugins currently active with my WordPress installation are:
– AddToAny
– Akismet
– Facebook Comments For WordPress
– Highlight Author Comments
– LinkWithin
– MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate
– OIO Publisher Ad Manager 2.0
– Post Teaser
– Wibiya Toolbar
– WordPress Database Backup
– WP Lightbox Ultimate
– Yet Another Related Posts Plugin
I first tried to check it with default WordPress theme Twenty Eleven 1.1
It’s not working with it too.
The above mentioned plugins are currently installed at my site. No one has been recently installed or updated. They are there before WP Light Box Ultimate was installed, and it once worked at my site even with above mentioned plugins installed.
The only event that happened before I found out that the plugin is not working was upgrading to WordPress 3.2
It may be a coincidence!
Can you find some solution for this issue?
July 8, 2011 at 1:05 pm #34059sudeepshroffMemberHey
It started working after I enabled following settings in Library Settings tab
Flowplayer Settings
HTML5 Settings
HTML Overlay Related Settings
They don’t come pre-enabled when the plugin is installed.
Is it always required to keep them enabled for the plugin to work?
I did see the installation video. Did I miss it there?
Anyways, now it’s working.
Any suggestion is welcome. If still I am doing anything wrong or missing, please let me know.
And thanks a lot for your support.
July 9, 2011 at 12:30 am #34060wpCommerceModeratorTo use prettyPhoto shortcode you don’t need them to be enabled. But it might have something to do with the jquery library that WordPress is including. For the time being just keep one of the checkboxes (either flowplayer, HTML5 or HTML) checked. I will do some investigations and get back to you.
