WordPress Version – 3.5
WP Lightbox v1.8.9
Other plugins/themes installed, but I tried deactivating them all and the overlay animation still didn’t work properly (neither did it center itself).
I have previously installed the plugin on other sites and it worked perfectly with the same themes/plugins, so I know that is not the issue
I have also tried taking a fresh copy and reinstalling the plugin, to no avail.
I read posts about jquery and thought that would be the issue since its relating to animation, but ruled it out because
1. It didn’t work with basic theme either.
2. I tried disabling jquery in the latest version and it didn’t show the overlay either.
Here is the example post – [http://www.finance-videos.com/lightbox-test/]
To recap problem is
> In case of using HTML5 – no centering of overlay and no animation
> In case of any other (I mainly tried mp4 all browser compatible) – no animation and video shows just below the anchor text
January 15, 2013 at 10:33 pm #53077wpCommerceModeratorHi, is there any way to turn off the following script in the OptimizePress theme:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.finance-videos.com/wp-content/themes/OptimizePress/js/flowplayer-3.2.4.min.js"></script>
Lightbox ultimate is also including the “flowplayer.js” script (which is required to run the flowplayer) and now there are multiple copies of “flowplayer.js” on the same page. So I believe the two “flowplayer.js” files are conflicting with each other.
For your information, you really don’t have to use the HTML5 shortcode. You can either use the “flowplayer mp4 display” shortcode or the “All browser compatible mp4 display” shortcode. Both of them are compatible with iOS devices.
After the 14.0.1 release Firefox now shows error for using HTML5 compatible “video” embed code. I think it’s better not to use the HTML5 shortcode.
January 16, 2013 at 7:50 am #53078ankit55MemberOkay, I updated the OP theme to latest version and flowplayer started working properly (even though there were 2 calls of flowplayer.js – removing the OP one didn’t have any effect)
The HTML5 however is still not centering which is strange as it is centering perfectly in other websites (so, this is not a browser issue).
The only reason I like HTML5 is because it looks much more cleaner and no branding on it.
Any solutions to try and make HTML5 work? (as it works in others?)
