I’ve created a lengthy web form using Gravity Forms. The form can be found here:

On each step of the form, there is a link at the top of the page. That link uses the WP Lightbox Ultimate YouTube Shortcode. The video on the first step works.

However, once you go to another step, the links stop opening in a Lightbox window and instead redirect the browser.

What can I do to get this working? I purchased this plugin to help your help. I’m hoping you’ll be able to resolve this.

Hi, I just had a look at your page source. You seem to be using shortcodes from both the video lightbox and lightbox ultimate. Please deactivate the video lightbox for now and use only the lightbox ultimate shortcode.

The Video Lightbox was deactivated as a plugin before my first post and the other code has now been removed from the form.

However, I am still getting the same result. What’s next?

Hi, I’m not sure how you are dynamically changing parts of the form (from step 1 – 6) but there is definitely something wrong. The popup works fine with a fresh page load on the first step. But if you try to submit the form without filling it up there will be an error and you will still be on the first step. Now if you click the video again nothing happens. It’s like jQuery becomes totally non-responsive.

The paging is done within the Gravity Forms framework. I assume it’s a jQuery function that is showing and hiding content accordingly.

And I agree that there is likely a jQuery issue at hand. I was hoping however that you would have a work around.

I’ve posted the topic on the Gravity Forms forum as well.

Gravity Forms indicated that I may need to reload the WP Lightbox Ultimate plugin on each page of the form. They provided a link to these instructions:

Since I’m not super familiar with your framework, do you have any thoughts on how this code should be implemented?

Hi, thanks for the link. We will see what we can do.
