just bought and installed Lightbox Ultimate. I used the free version before and everything´s been working fine…
Lightbox Ultimate however is not working for me…
first problem: nothing happens when clicking on the anchor image…
here´s the example: [http://tripbox.com/test-lightbox]
this is the shortcode I used: [wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_video link=”https://vimeo.com/92142465″ width=”640″ height=”480″ description=”YLVA” source=”http://tripbox.com/wp-bcce9-content/uploads/2015/04/Ylva1.png” title=”YLVA fashion spot”]
using lightbox ultimate: 2.1.7
WP: WordPress 4.2.2 running Salient theme.
second (minor) problem: the lightbox shortcode generator in wp-text edit does not work. there´s only a blank white pop-up window, when i click on the black bubble-icon…
thank you for your help!May 22, 2015 at 12:34 am #70128
Hi, It should at least go to the vimeo video URL when you click on it (even if the video doesn’t pop up). That’s how a link works in HTML.
seems to work with the default wp-theme, though the “close-button” is half hidden behind the video pop-up and not accessible…
so, i cannot use another theme. the rest of the page is almost ready and i cannot start from scratch at this point…
btw salient is a very often used theme (over 32.000 sales on theme forest with a five star ranking, elite authour…)
so, is there anything that I can do to use lightbox-ultimate besides not using the salient theme?May 23, 2015 at 12:09 am #70130
Have you tried embedding the shortcode with a text (instead of image)?May 30, 2015 at 3:26 pm #70131
tried with a text-anchor too, but it´s still not working…May 31, 2015 at 12:33 am #70132
We will need to take a closer look at your site to investigate this issue. I have sent an email to your registered email address for site access. Let me know if you don’t receive it.September 14, 2015 at 6:09 pm #70133richhughesMember
Having the same problem here – used free version – worked a treat! Just upgraded and when I try linking to a MP4 it does nothing, with both image and text links.
Here’s the page, so you can see the 2 link options showing correctly: [http://schneiderspec.wpengine.com/test-page/]
and the x2 shortcodes I’ve used.
[wp_lightbox_mp4_video link=”/wp-content/uploads/StruxureWare-Software-The-Power-of-Enterprise-Efficiency.mp4″ width=”640″ height=”480″ title=”The Power of Enterprise Efficiency” autoplay=”false”][wp_lightbox_mp4_video link=”http://schneiderspec.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/StruxureWare-Software-The-Power-of-Enterprise-Efficiency.mp4″ width=”640″ height=”480″ source=”/wp-content/uploads/Screen-Shot-2015-08-26-at-08.36.49.png”]
[wp_lightbox_anchor_text_mp4_video link=”/wp-content/uploads/StruxureWare-Software-The-Power-of-Enterprise-Efficiency.mp4″ title=”title goes here” text=”click here to open the video” autoplay=”false”]
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The following post will explain why this is an issue:
Is there any option in the theme settings to turn it off? So the core jquery library from WordPress is included.
