I have now set up WP Affiliate and WP Estore on my site. I have two different affiliate products, one with a commission level of 50% and one with a commission level of 20%.
How can I set this up so that the correct affiliate commission is calculated? In WP Affiliate I can only have ONE commission level per affiliate but I need to set a commission level per product. Is that possible to set up?

September 15, 2016 at 7:38 am #74085highest potentialMemberHi wzp,
thank you for your answer. I found the place to enter the product specific commission level – but it does not work.
In WP Affiliate the default commission level is set to 20%.
The individual affiliate commission is set to 25%.
Product #1 has 20% commission and Product #2 50% commission.
When I purchase now via the affiliate link product#2 I get a commission of 25% not 50% as intended.
Is one of my settings incorrect?
September 16, 2016 at 1:52 am #74086adminKeymasterPlease enable the debug option in the eStore plugin. The following post has info on how to enable debug:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/how-and-when-to-enable-debug-and-what-does-it-do
Do a test transaction with your product #2 so I can check the log file and see what the plugin is doing.
Share a link to the page where you have the buy button for your product #2.
September 16, 2016 at 12:23 pm #74087highest potentialMemberThis is the link to product#2: [http://schoolofselfrevolution.com/fmb101-master-the-basics/]
I did buy it by reducing the price to $0.50 now the price is back to $97.
How can I send the log files? I guess they contain some sensitive data or do you prefer a login to my website?
Thank you for your help.
September 16, 2016 at 12:43 pm #74088wzpModeratorThe log files do not reveal any sensitive information. You may post them here.
September 16, 2016 at 2:21 pm #74089highest potentialMemberOk, I removed some sensitive information like paypal IPN info and email addresses:
[removed log data after checking it]
The result of the purchase was the same, instead of 50% (which is set at product level) only 25 % was recorded.
September 18, 2016 at 3:21 am #74090adminKeymastereStore is finding that the commission for that transaction has already been processed. That shouldn’t happen as eStore is suppose to award the commission.
[09/16/2016 12:12 PM] – SUCCESS :The referrer for this sale is:peterpan
[09/16/2016 12:12 PM] – SUCCESS :Additional debug data. Txn ID: 6VX8384478799631J Campign ID: Buyer Email: ls@t-online.de
[09/16/2016 12:12 PM] – SUCCESS :The database record shows that the commission for this transaction has already been awarded so no need to do anything.
I have a feeling you have enabled other forms of paypal integration in the affiliate plugin settings when you shouldn’t. When you are using eStore, you don’t need to do any kind of integration related settings configuration in the affiliate plugin as eStore takes care of everything.
Go to your affiliate plugin settings and make sure the following checkbox is unchecked:
Enable 3rd Party Cart Integration
Also, make sure the following field is empty:
PayPal PDT Identity Token
WP eStore and Affiliate plugin integration is explained in the documentation below:
October 14, 2016 at 5:03 pm #74091highest potentialMemberThank you very much. That was indeed the problem. I had the affiliate plugin set up first and a few days later the WP Estore and I didn’t see in the documentation that no integration is allowed to be present in WP Affiliate in order for it to work.
May 13, 2020 at 7:18 pm #74092goaliedude10122SpectatorHi, clarification on this topic:
Does a product’s commission level override an affiliate’s commission level?
For example, if I set an affiliate at 30% commission, and then a product at 50% commission, the affiliate would then get the 50% commission?
That would be great if that’s how it works.

Product specific commissions always take precedent over individual affiliate commissions.
