Greetings…
We just installed and configured WP-estore Version 8.1.7, and the Extra Shortcodes for WP eStore, Version 5.2.0 … All of the shortcodes we have tried and implemented on the site work EXCEPT for the product and category shortcodes. We’ve saved the first product and category so we could test all the shortcodes – but we can’t do that as non are working that we have printed out from the PDF document of shortcodes you have supplied. Please help us remedy this situation.
The cart shortcode is working, and is located[https://worldwidewebsitestore.com/estore-action/checkout]
The first product category we saved – which includes the first product we saved – should be displaying here:[https://worldwidewebsitestore.com/shop/traffic] … except as you can plainly see – it does not resolve.
We hope you can remedy this situation !
July 20, 2020 at 10:37 pm #80801wzpModeratorWell, the [wp_estore_category_products:category_id:1:end] shortcode is part of the baseline eStore package; so it should work. There are 2 things to check:
- Please ensure that you properly setup categories, as per these directions:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wordpress-estore-product-categorization-431
- Please go back to that page, on which the shortcodes did not render, and MANUALLY retype (DO NOT COPY/PASTE) the shortcodes using the NON-VISUAL page editing mode.

Thank you for your reply…
We had already tried the above just to see if we were “missing” something, and no soap – as a matter of fact we redid them again before composing this reply.
So… once again – what can be done with this ?
July 21, 2020 at 1:16 am #80803adminKeymasterUse the following shortcode instead. This will work fine with the new WP editor.
[wp_eStore_category_products_fancy id=1 style=1 type=1]
It is available in the extra shortcodes addon which you have installed. The PDF file reference in the following page has usage example of the above mentioned shortcode:

Excellent… that shortcode flew, and we’ll follow up on the literature…
Thanks once again for your reply, time and patience in this matter.
