WP eStore Payment Verification Failed

Im using paypals sandbox to test my site and am getting the Payment verification method failed.

My thank you page gets a note saying

Thank You for your purchase. Product(s) will be delivered when the funds have cleared.

I have checked that the product ID and short code matches, strict paypal is unchecked. Ive also gone through the steps in the link in the email for falure reasons but still no change.

Im in the Uk if that has any bearing on the sandbox functionality.

Any help will be greatly appreciated I’m tearing my hair out here!

The “verification failed” email you received should tell you the exact reason for the failure. I can see from the debug that the funds are in a pending state which is why it’s failing. This happens when you PayPal account is NOT configured correctly or missing verification steps that PayPal requires you to do. This post will help:
