I am having a problem with eStore and the Pay-Per-View Videos after a payment has been processed. The Thank You page shows the link to the Pay-Per-View Video after being redirected by Paypal. When I click on the link it gives me the following Error Message from Internet Explorer:
Oops! This page appears broken. DNS Error – Server cannot be found.
Here is what the original link looked like: http://www.mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php?file=NWcmiv2B8Ygzscwt
Please advise as to what the problem might be.
Now a second question is do I have to have a player plugin enabled to play the video?

March 2, 2011 at 11:02 pm #28565danmanstanMemberHello again,
I read in another forum about changing the Automatic URL Conversion Preference and the Download Method and the link on my Thank You page worked to download the Video.
When I switched the Product to Pay-Per-View and processed the payment. I got the above server error again. Please advise as to what might be the problem here.

March 5, 2011 at 3:27 am #28567danmanstanMemberI’m getting the following error: HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error).
If it is an internal server error do you have any advise or suggestions on what settings could be impacting it?

So I am back to where I was, trying to figure out why the PPV will not load. Was I supposed to embed the video into a webpage or does the plugin do this?
April 21, 2011 at 11:46 pm #28570amin007ParticipantYeah you need to embed the videos (that you are selling) on a page then use the URL of that page in the eStore’s “Digital Content URL” field. eStore will just keep the true link of the page hidden. This page has a video that shows you how to set up pay per view option:

August 29, 2011 at 5:55 am #28571danmanstanMemberHey thanks for the advise. I got it done after being hacked! : )
I am now having a similar issue as Vitaly in this post:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/pay-per-view-feature-security/page/2
Basically my embeded video page URL is still visible and public. I’ve randomized the URL and took care of robots.
Did you guys ever come up with a custom code for this issue or another work around?
Thanks again.
Daniel
