Hi I have installed and intergrated Wp Estore with Nextgen Gallery using the template wp-eStore.php.
The cart is working fine.
What I want to do is place price variation in the ‘Alt & Title Text / Description’ field of each image ( in nextgen gallery),using html & shortcodes something like this.
[wp_cart:Photo 1:price:0:var1[Size|2×4:$6|4×6:$8|5×7:$15|8×10:$20|11×14:$40|16×20 – $55]:end]
The end result would be a dropdown box and buy now button for each image with the ability to apply different options and prices to each image.
Any help or ideas very greatfully accepted.
Thanks in advance
pete
The shortcode you mentioned is not the correct shortcode for the WP eStore plugin.
You can do what you are after just by specifying the variation details in the product then placing a button for it in the “Alt & Title Text / Description” field. This page has details on how to use variation with WP eStore:

Hello,
I am selling a physical products, they are kits ofm multiple products each with multiple variations.
ex: Package one has 12 items each come in 3 sizes and 84 different colours.
How could I grab that info before checkout?
Thanks
WP eStore cannot limit quantity based on variations. This is explained in the “Limitation” section of the variation control document:
