Firstly, thanks a lot for creating this plugin – it’s just what I needed for the project I’m on. Perfect!
I’ve just tested it and there’s only 1 minor thing that I’ve noted:
The Status for the order seems to be set to “Complete” already. Not sure why. In theory, the first Status for any new order should be “Pending”, so that they can be easily identified. Any chance this could be changed?
Aside from that – great job! Another reason why I keep recommending you guys!

I suspect you are using PayPal as the payment gateway – is that correct?
The plugin code is reading a parameter from the payment data and is setting the status accordingly – in this case if PayPal returns “Completed” then the plugin is using that value to set the status.
I can see how this is not ideal for physical product purchases because the merchant may not have shipped the product even though the payment is “Completed”.
We will look into the possibility of changing the default status of an order to “pending” or “processing”.

Yup – that’s correct. Using PayPal for the eStore.
It’s not a major issue at the moment, as I’ve made my client aware of it so they know what to look out for (and check the dates of orders). Would be great if this was amended and I look forward to the changes in a future version of the plugin.

I love the OM system, but I’ve got a situation where while the default is now set to Pending the status from download products coming from PayPal are also set to Pending when I would like them to display as complete (just like the status coming from PayPal). Thus, I have a need to change this default status for electronic downloads vs. physical products. Where is the configuration for this default status within Order Management? Does it show in each individual product? A little eguidance on how I can change the default status based on the product medium would be appreciated.

Are you selling a mixture of digital and physical items or just digital items?
