Wondering – Want to set up Word Press in a subdomain on my website to sell products via WP eStore plug-in. Is there anything I should know about using WP eStore in a subdomain? or proceed with configuration in subdomain as with uppler level domain and it will work the same?
Please give an example, using example URL values, of how you might want to do this. Generally, there should be no issue using the plugin on a sub-domain WordPress install.
Example: my website is [www.mydomain.com] where I want to install WP into a subdomain and call it – [http://store.mydomain.com] in order to use the WP eStore plug-in and sell products. Thanks, D.
Hi, I have about 150 products on my site in estore. Is it possible to copy the entire estore and put it in another domain if I wanted to do that? I did find the estore folder and copied it and pasted it into a subdomain as a test but the store was empty where I copied it to. I can’t find where all of the products are actually stored in the folder structure. Thank you for your assistance.
You will need to move the eStore database tables to the other site.
You could also export the product info from Site A then import it into the other install. The following video tutorial should be helpful to show you how it can be done:
