I’m trying to accomplish something rather simple but must be missing something?
I’m attempting to apply a 30% discount to any product for any $ amount and any quantity Automatically.
I think I’ve tried every combination on the setup page as follows:
WP eStore > Coupons/Discounts
Use Coupon System: Unchecked

Use Automatic Discount Feature Checked
Free Shipping for Sub-total Over Empty
Free Shipping for Quantity Over Empty

This is what we’re looking for but Automatic (no manual Code entry)
So I keep ending up with a partial result. The Top two efforts worked perfectly as for the Auto part but adds Free Shipping, which we don’t want.

If you just want to apply 30% discount to everything for everyone then you can simply make your prices 30% cheaper.
What happens if you do the following:
#) Create a normal coupon for 30% discount
#) Use the “Apply Coupon Automatically for Quantity Over” option and set it to 0. Then specify the coupon you created in the previous step. I think that should apply the coupon for everything.

Thanks for your reply.
We have a requirement that requires two prices be displayed so I display eStore>Price: as “Retail Price” and eStore>Old_Price as “Preferred Customer Price”. The Retail amount adds to the Cart, then the Coupon/Discount adjusts it to the Preferred Customer Price that is also displayed.
Did what you suggested and it worked on the discount but for some reason it also showed the Free Shipping discount. So I did the opposite.
Use Automatic Discount Feature = checked
Free Shipping for Sub-total Over = 1,000,000
Free Shipping for Quantity Over = 1,000,000
This did the trick. Hell, if some body orders over a $million or 1,000,000 units, I’ll deliver them myself:-)
