Tagged: add to cart, WP button, WP eStore
I need a little help. I am trying to using WP eStore and WP Button together. This is the page: [http://sewityourselfworkshops.com/sew-easy-pillow/]
The orange button was created with WP Button and the black button is a typical WP eStore add to cart button.
When you click the black button it takes you to a register page where you can either register for a free account or login. Once you register, you are automatically logged in and the item is added to your cart and you can checkout.
The orange WP Button takes you to the register page, but it does not add the item to your cart. Is it possible to have the WP Button created button behave like the add to cart button?
TIA,
Angie
Hi Angie, Use the following feature of eStore:
eStore – How to Use a Text Link or URL to Accommodate the Purchase of a Product
You can use the URL of your registration page (with the add to cart parameters) as the target URL of the button created using the WP Button Creator plugin.
Thank you for such a quick answer. Could you please explain what you mean by ‘with the add to cart parameters’. I did try using the registration page URL as the target URL, but did not get the desired results. Apparently I was missing something.
@angie01, It means your target URL can be:
or
[http://sewityourselfworkshops.com/?p=21&wp_eStore_add_to_cart=1]
Thank you, that worked perfectly. I love learning new stuff and this is something new to me.
