I’m sorry, but after spending the money to purchase this plug-in, I find the thing simply does not work and I feel I have wasted my money on some pipe dream.December 29, 2009 at 1:23 am #16959
I understand you are having some difficulty with the WP eStore plugin but just telling me that “I find the thing simply does not work” doesn’t really help.
If you explain what the issue is (which part isn’t working) then I will be able to assist you in resolving it.
Also, please read this post if you get time so you understand how to get help:December 29, 2009 at 1:26 am #16960
I am having problems integrating WP eStore with NextGen Gallery. I sell paintings and have a page with photos already shown. I have already installed the patch file in the NextGen plug-in, view folder. The problem is the “buy now” buttons do not show up at all. I understand there is code for the button, however, this does not appear in my NextGen Gallery when viewing the alt text and the title text.
I do appreciate your taking time from your busy schedule to contact me. I will also look at the faq links you have sent.December 29, 2009 at 1:28 am #16961
Alrighty… now I have a better idea of where you are after… from my experience most of the time people miss a step or two from the instructions at this page which is why the integration doesn’t go smooth:
Can you please confirm that you have followed the instructions correctly?December 29, 2009 at 1:32 am #16962
Also, can you please tell me what nextgen gallery shortcode you are using on your page to display the gallery?December 29, 2009 at 1:33 am #16963
I am using
[nggallery id=1]to display the gallery.December 29, 2009 at 1:34 am #16964
That’s where the issue is… the instruction (http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-estore-and-nextgen-gallery-integration-create-photo-shop-1200) says to use the following shortcode to display the gallery:
[nggallery id=1 template=wp-eStore]
Please see the “Displaying the Gallery” section of the instruction.December 29, 2009 at 1:35 am #16965
Thanks, I have that and it is corrected. However, pressing the Buy button does nothing. What next do I need to do?December 29, 2009 at 1:36 am #16966
Have you add the “Shopping cart” somewhere on your site? e.g. the sidebar or on a page or post? The shopping cart displays what items the customer has added to their cart.December 29, 2009 at 1:39 am #16967
Got it! I thank you very much for helping me. I know this must seem mundane for you, but coming from my viewpoint your assistance is invaluable!!!!!!!!!!
