Hello there. I’m having a series of difficulties with the wpestore plug in, that are frankly, baffling.
The sites in question are…
http://creditboostsoftware.com/product-page/
and
http://creditboostsoftware.com/confirmation-page/
First –
Unless I am logged into the site (into the backend of the site through wordpress) the product page will not properly submit the products to the cart. When you add them to the cart, they will not show up.
Second – When I am logged into wordpress – I am able to add products to cart – however the product confirmation page seems to keep track of every product added to the cart (if they were added while logged in). No matter when or from where the product was added to the cart. Also the order confirmation page seems to skew the quantities products added.
To give an example.
I add the “single version” to cart, and put in a shipping address. When I go to the confirmation page there are 2 of that product in the cart.
Secondly, if I try and order a different product. When I go to the order confirmation page, it will show not only the new product. But it will show all instances of the product being ordered.
For example somebody orders the single edition, and puts in their shipping address.
Then if another customer adds the same, or a different product to the cart. They will be taken to the order confirmation page and have their product, and all previous customers products in the cart.
Obviously this is a huge problem.
Your time, and assistance if very greatly appreciated.
Edit: Additionally sometimes when I am not logged into wordpress, the add to cart will register and go to the confirmation page. Whether or not it works seems to be random. However there will still be the problem of all previous orders being in the cart.
Sometimes it will bring me to the order confirmation page, display previous orders but not the display the order I submitting on that test.
September 28, 2011 at 11:04 pm #37127adminKeymasterAbnormal behaviors mostly stem from one of the two types of issues:
1. Wrong server configuration (for example: PHP Session not setup properly) which is stopping the cart from working normally
2. There is another application in the site (a plugin or a theme) that is doing something to cause this behavior.
Lets try to narrow it down so we can investigate the root cause. Please do this test and report back:

Are you using a caching plugin?
