WP eMembers issues with auto subscribing to MailPoet list

I followed the directions outlined here:

I have multiple MailPoet lists but when a user registers, I want them to be added to a specific list called “MDRA Web Users”. I edit the MailPoet list “MDRA Web Users” as follows:

I then go to WP eMember/Membership Level and insert “5” into “Autoresponder List/Campaign Name (optional)”

When a new user registers, they show up as subscribers under MailPoet but they are not subscribed to the “MDRA Web Users” list. What am I doing wrong?

Please turn on the eMember debug logs and register a new member. Then check the debug log to see if the subscription was successful.

Enable the debug option in the eMember settings menu. Then do another test. Share log file’s entries related to the autoresponder signup. Lets see if there is any errors there.

Thank you. Lets try to find why that error is happening. Have you specified any custom field requirement for this particular MailPoet list? That will cause an error since our plugin will only submit email and name value.

Also, edit the membership level one more time and verify that the “Autoresponder List” field contains the correct MailPoet List ID value.

In mailpoet, the mailpoet list I want them to be auto subscribed to is “MDRA Web Users” (no quotes) and the url is https://xxxxxxxx.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=mailpoet-segments#/edit/5

I have the number “5” (no quotes) specified in Membership Level for “Member” “Autoresponder List/Campaign Name (optional)” field.

There are no custom fields in MailPoet that I am aware of. I exported users of this mail list as seen below:

“Email”,”First name”,”Last name”,”List status”,”Global status”,”List”

“user@somewhere.com”,”John”,”Smith”,”subscribed”,”unconfirmed”,”MDRA Web Users”

I am at a loss at the moment. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
