Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › WP eMember Troubleshooting › WP eMember Stops Sending email to yahoo mail after Hosting Migration
Dear Admins,
I recently got an email from my hosting company that they recently migrated my site to a new location.
“we are transferring all data from your current shared server onto brand new hardware. Once the migration has completed, we will send another update that contains new IP addresses and information on any DNS changes that will need to be made. We will also be forwarding all traffic from your old account to the new server. This will allow you to immediately view your website on the new hardware.”
After this migration I started getting emails from my new customers that they haven’t got their login details / membership sign up link
I tried doing some test via PayPal payment and Manual Adding of members and after a couple of test, I’ve noticed that WP eMember is still sending email notification to a GMail email but NOT to Yahoo eMail. My autoresponders email are also still being sent both to Gmail and Yahoo email addresses.
But Not the email that contains the login details / membership sign up link to Yahoo emails.
Can you guys help me how to fix this?
The plugin sends the email the same way for both Gmail or Yahoo. Given your explanation, I think that Yahoo mail server is blocking the emails sent from your new server. The following post will help you track it down.
