Hi there,
For some reason, when a new user signs up for my 1-day free trial, they are sent to a login page but are not sent login details, so they cannot login…
Can you help please?
Is this a totally free membership or a paid membership?
Have you read the registration flow documentation and have decided which one you want to go with?

Please post a link to your Registration page.
Have you saved the “Email Settings” from the settings menu?
I just tested a free registration and it sent me the email fine. Did you test signing up yourself?
I just realized you mentioned the one day trial thing which goes through a payment process. Is the following happening after a payment?
1) Are you using WP eStore for your payment button or a plain PayPal button?
2) Are your customers getting an email that says “Complete Your Membership Registration” which contains a unique link that they can click and complete the registration by choosing username and password?
1. Yes – I am using WP estore
2. Yes – they do get this.
The probelm also is that whenever a user registers, their details replace all admin details (except email address)…which is very odd!
I have sent you a site access request so I can check out whats going on.
