Hi !
I’m using the WP eMember Email Broadcast Add On and each time I send an email, my users receive it twice. It’s really annoying. I tried to put no date on the form, but it just doesn’t send it. Can you help me with this ?
Hi ! Sorry for the delay. I have a debug log, but I don’t think it will help. It only shows that the emails were sent successfully. The problem is that each member receives the same email 2 times.

[01/11/2023 5:38 PM] – SUCCESS :login_through_wp() called with username = elysebergeronThe first thing we need to see is if our plugin is executing that email sending code twice on your site or the issue is external to the plugin (the mail server duplicating it for some reason). Based on that, we can determine what the next item that should be looked at.
Can you please share the content of the following debug log file:
eMember_debug_cronjob.txtThank you. The logs confirm that the plugin is not executing any duplicate email sending code. So there is an external factor at play here (some kind of conflict).
Next, lets check if the cronjob events are all registered incorrectly on this site (to make sure there are no duplicate cronjob events registered). Use the WP Control plugin to check if any of the cronjobs are registered multiple times. If they are, you can delete the duplicates. The following tutorial has information that will be helpful.
Hi !
Last week, the emails weren’t duplicated anymore (I don’t know why, I didn’t do anything diferent) but today the email was sent twice, again. I looked at the cron jobs and there’s no double. In the WP eMember Email Broadcast interface, the email appears 2 times though. I talked with support from my server and the problem isn’t there, it seems it’s triggered in the wordpress. Honestly I don’t know what to do.
