Tagged: email broadcast link
Hi Tips and Tricks;
The plugin itself is working in almost every way except one. Whatever I put in the signature box the broadcast displays it on one line. That is if I have:
My Name
My Website
It displays it as:
My Name My Website
That is everything is put on to the same line. Is there anyway around this?
I know I can just put the signature in the email body but then this box would be pointless.
Thanks for your help.
John
The emails are sent as plain text, not HTML. Try adding the following ampersand codes, to hard code a (CR/LF) newline.

Is there a way when including a link in an email broadcast (using the add-on) for the email to just show the link (that the recipient can click on)? When I try to include a link, it shows up as:
I just want to see “Name of link”
Thanks!
Continuing from message above, I was trying to say that the email link included the full URL, href, etc. The way it shows above is exactly what I want to see.
Thanks!
When an email is sent through the addon, it is sent as plain text. It is up to the recipient’s email client to decide whether or not, and how, to handle URL that appear in the message. Because the emails are sent as plain text messages, any attempts at including HTML code are usually ignored; unless the recipient is using a web browser mail client, to read the message. However, properly formed URL addresses are USUALLY turned into clickable links, by the email client; as in:
