One of the main issue that the users face is that they don’t get email after the purchase (it indicates an issue with your setup). You should enable debug option in the plugin to find out what it is. The following post explains how to do that:

If the debug file is empty after you do a test transaction then that means the plugin is not receiving notification from PayPal. You should check the following checklist to correct the issue:

If you want to do subscriptions, known as “recurring payments,” with other payment processors; you must also get the Payment Gateway Bundle:

This allows you to accept recurring paymets for Authorize.net, CCBill, Stripe, ClickBank, and PayPal pro.

They need an account with any of the payment processors; because that is how certain subscription management functions (like cancellation) is handled.
But if they pay a single payment they do not have to create a paypal account?

Are you trying to do something that requires untraceable, anonymous subscriptions?
April 15, 2014 at 3:43 am #58966adminKeymaster@guivisions, If you enable enhanced recurring billing option in your PayPal account (This is a premium feature of PayPal), then your users will be able to checkout without creating/having a PayPal account.
