Hi, I installed wp-affiliate platform V4.6.0 last year around June time, and clicks seem to be being tracked but the commissions are not working, although I am sure they did when I first installed the affiliate platform, at that time I used the affiliate integration plugin V 1.1. I have just updated to the latest version of wp affiliate platform and deactivated the integration as I read its no longer needed.
landing page: http://www.shinnerz.com/shop/products-page/checkout
Wp ecommerce version 3.8.7.4
WordPress V 3.3
Payments are through : PayPal Payments Standard 2.0 (works fine)
I have enabled debuging and have worked through checking the reported url’s.
Best regards
Dave

September 10, 2012 at 7:35 am #49143ozbodMemberMorning thanks for your reply, I downloaded and installed wp-affiliate platform V 5.3.3 yesterday, this is the latest version?
Please confirm if I should delete the existing wp-ecommerce affiliate integration plugin V1.1 as I get the impression it’s no longer needed.
Seems like some of my original message is missing, the missing part is below:
I am getting these lines in the debug log:
[09/09/2012 11:49 AM] – FAILURE :Remote POST is disabled in the settings.
[09/09/2012 11:51 AM] – FAILURE :Remote POST is disabled in the settings.
Should I have enabled Remote POST ?
Thanks
Dave

Could you just confirm if I can delete the existing wp-ecommerce affiliate integration plugin V1.1 ( it is deactivated)
Many thanks again
Dave
September 10, 2012 at 8:22 am #49145adminKeymasterYes, that is the latest version so you are good. Yes, please delete the wp-ecommerce affiliate integration plugin (it is no longer necessary with the new version).
You do not need to enable the remote post option (this is not needed for wp-ecommerce integration).
Those debug outputs that you are getting are related to a 3rd party integration via the API. Somewhere you enabled a settings which is calling those API.
You didn’t check the “Enable 3rd Party Cart Integration” option in the settings. Did you?
September 10, 2012 at 8:34 am #49146ozbodMemberHi,
the only entry I have under settings > enable 3rd party integration is the Pay Pal Identity Token, everything else in the section is un-checked
Just did a final check after deleting the integration plugin and all is good in the world now! Everything is working.
Cheers
Dave
