MemberI have a question and a problem.
Q: is wp cart for digital products the same plugin as wp estore? because I could only download wp cart for digital products and its confusing?
Problem: I tried to install the plugin into wordpress and it came up with an error
“failed to write file to disk” could not install the zip file
how do I get around this?
thanks

MemberI tried uploading via ftp using filezilla but I had many errors “Critical file transfer error”. would there be something wrong with the files that I downloaded. I did unzip the file and then upload the directory wp-cart-digital-products . I tried it twice with same error result??
I would attach a screen shot but it seems I cannot on this forum?
the ftp reason for failure is “could not start transfer”

MemberAs an alternative, please try uploading the zip file from the wordpress administration panel in the “Add New” section of the plugins menu.

MemberThanks Peter, but have already tried that. doesn’t seem to want to be installed???? could there be a problem with the zip file itself or its content?

MemberOk, I went back to ftp and uploaded, there were many upload failures so then I uploaded the failed files separated. the plugin is now active. however I notices that the file sizes sometimes were less once they were uploaded. Is this normal?

MemberCould this have anything to do with my hosting? as I’m having same problem with another plugin?

MemberYeah sounds like a dodgy host. I never seen these kind of errors when uploading plugin files.
Which provider are you with?
We can’t do much to help you if you have a host which creates limitations on your wordpress installation.

ModeratorWhen using FTP, did you use the binary transfer mode?
